This is a new role with no predefined playbook and that’s exactly the point. We’re looking for someone ready to take ownership of the product and tech direction, define what great looks like, and grow the role as the business evolves.
You’ll shape the product strategy, set priorities, align teams, and ensure we build things that work (not just technically, but for the people who use them). It’s a strategic and operational role, with full ownership of the product function and hands-on involvement where needed.
Your Responsibilities
- Shape and own the overall product strategy, ensuring it reflects market needs, drives business growth, and translates into clear, actionable priorities.
- Take ownership of core areas, including Product, Tech, and potentially a few smaller ones
- Partner with the CTO to assess and evolve our product and tech infrastructure, including payments, apps, and funnel architecture.
- Translate company goals into focused product initiatives, manage priorities, and ensure timely, high-quality execution across teams.
- Dive into the current product and tech setup, identify the biggest challenges, and work with the team to tackle them effectively.
- Set up scalable product processes from discovery through delivery to improve team efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive continuous product discovery with design, engineering, and data, to understand user problems before investing in solutions.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and iterative learning, especially within early-stage product ideas and R&D efforts.
- Represent the product perspective at the leadership level, aligning company vision with product direction and highlighting where the biggest bets lie.
Core Requirements
- Strong track record in product leadership, as this role requires someone who has shaped direction, managed roadmaps, and launched products with real business impact.
- Solid understanding of how tech works, because leading product here means collaborating deeply with engineers and making grounded, credible decisions.
- Hands-on experience in lean environments, since this isn’t a purely strategic role, it involves diving into execution when needed.
- Strong people leadership skills to align, support, and motivate cross-functional teams toward shared goals in a fast moving setup.
- Strategic thinking paired with executional drive, enabling you to set a clear direction and actually get things done.
- Experience working across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams, as success here depends on connecting user needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in payments, customer support, or online reputation management
- Familiarity with fast-paced environments where priorities shift with learning and growth
