Now we’re looking for a Head of Video Creative – creative strategist and hands-on leader who’s hungry to push new concepts, master new channels, and build a team that consistently delivers winning video ads across the globe.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of our video strategy and set the direction for the team, leading concepting and scaling, and ensure the team consistently delivers on ambitious OKRs.
- Lead and grow a skilled video team, aligning each member’s strengths with project needs and their personal growth. Run regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and create opportunities for ongoing learning and development.
- Drive video ad strategy for Meta and Google, while adapting creative for other platforms where our audiences live.
- Turn research into results: analyze personas, pain-points, and desires, and translate them into creative that speaks each audience’s language.
- Build diversified reach with concepts tailored to different audience segments, no one-size-fits-all.
- Use AI and automation to scale smarter: speed up workflows, generate variations, and increase team efficiency.
- Stay proactive and hungry: spot trends early, explore new communities, and bring in innovations that give us an edge. Encourage the team to bring bold concepts, unconventional formats, and new visual ideas to the table.
- Design processes that work from detailed briefs and sprint cycles to performance tracking that makes impact measurable.
- Write detailed, actionable briefs for both video and static creative that give the team clarity and direction.
- Balance data and creativity. Know when to trust the numbers and when to push for a bold idea.
- Collaborate closely with PPC and marketing peers to align messaging, targeting, and creative performance goals.
Core Requirements
- You bring at least +2 years of hands-on leadership in video performance advertising, guiding a team while building and scaling creatives for digital growth products.
- Your process starts with research, you break down personas, uncover pain points and desires, and turn them into creative that speaks directly to the audience.
- You know how to keep a creative team sharp by setting up clear briefs, running sprints, and tracking results in a structured way.
- AI is part of your toolkit, and you use it to generate content, create variations, and automate workflows for faster, smarter production.
- You lead by example, mentoring your team, giving constructive feedback, and working closely with PPC peers to make sure creative and performance go hand in hand.
- You are constantly curious and hungry, digging into reviews, forums, and communities to find insights, while staying on top of new tools and emerging trends.
- You can write detailed briefs, balance data with creativity, and deliver ads that not only look good but also perform.
- Your toolkit includes Adobe Creative Suite, motion design tools, supported by project management platforms, plus AI-powered solutions.
